This is Erin. I photographed her brother’s Senior pictures last year and was so glad when they called this year for Erin! Erin was so amazing to work with and had so many great outfits and looks, I just HAD to incorporate them all! This girl can’t take a bad picture!

Garrett Turned ONE!

I was so glad when Garrett’s Parents called me back to capture his ONE year portraits. He’s such a sweet boy and was so curious about me and my camera. I got some questioning stares, some great expressions and a few sweet smiles! I think some of my favorites were of him with his Daddy’s wrenches and old cars! I want some old cars like that too!

Garrett was a joy to photograph and I enjoyed the afternoon spent with his family! Thank you for allowing me to get these pictures for y’all! I enjoyed it!

I try not to mix business with family but how can I turn her down when she asked so nicely……. This is my cousin and her husband. They still act like newly-weds and I enjoyed ~~laughing at~~ them. If you have never seen me, this is what I look like. I take it as a compliment and sure hope she does ; ) I just wished I was as skinny.

Whitney and I finally met up to finish her senior session. This one too had it's problems. (Thank you to the Firemen that rescued her keys from her car) But dispute the problems with the 2 session we ended up with "one" set of really great pictures. Whitney... Your great! Thank you! The Graduation Announcement:
This is an example of a custom announcment/invatation that I offer. Whitney told me her favorite color was green, she wanted a callage theme and lots of pictures (which she picked). She also wanted these to be postcards so the back had all the info and a place for a stamp the mailing address! Too fun!

WPA's Race for Education

I was so excited to be asked if I would sponsor an event at a local private school. I use any excuse I can to take pictures so I jumped at this chance. I even got my business name on a banner! (That was fun to see.) Anyway this was an event to raise money for computer lab upgrades, class room extras and other supplies and goodies for the school. The school ended up with a lot of sponsors with one being Chiloso's. Great Mexican food! (Thanks for feeding my kids!)

The kids helped earn money by turning in address's for donation requests to friends and family. The Dean of the school decided to challenge the kids by asking for a very large number of address's and in return he would kiss a pig at the end of the race. Well........ Kids exceeded the large number and he was forced to kiss a pig. (Something the kids really wanted to see.)

This is a really great school and if your wanting a great Christian based education for your kiddo's, this is the place to be!

Another cold and very windy day also know as the days I take pictures!! Hurry Spring! This couple was great. Poor things huddled under coats between pictures. Braving the cold!

This poor family was so cold! I think this day was the coldest day of the year so far. With out of towners in town for only a short time another day was out of the question. The kids were so good and in between shots they cuddled up together to keep each other warm. Bless them......

I think despite the cold we got some really great family pictures! Hope you guys finally got warm and I promise next time will be better....

I’m really looking forward to Christmas and the New Year. I have been so blessed with a very busy Christmas season and ready for some time off to enjoy my family and to finally decorate my house for Christmas. I will be taking off from December 22-26 and of course New Year’s Day. I will however come back better than ever. I’m working on a new website, updated blog, price lists and unique products. Almost like a business makeover. I look forward to working with all of you again and meeting new clients. My focus will be on babies, kids, seniors and small families. I’m so thankful to have had such a great 2008 and I thank each and every one of my clients and my family for their help, patience, and encouragement.
2009 holds a lot of promise and opportunities that I am excited about! Please expect some down time within the next few weeks on the website and blog! Changes are being made! To all who are expecting to see your pictures on the blog, I will get those up sometime after the New Year.

I know you remember Miss America from a couple of months ago. She's growing so fast and it's time for Christmas pictures. I hit the nail on the head when I predicted in no time she would be spoiled! She came with about 4 Christmas Dress (shoes and Bows to match) and I wanted to put her in every single one of them, but as usual my favorites are the ones where she has nothing but a diaper on.

This was a really cool family! Their story was amazing and I was so glad they chose me to capture their day! They got married in a little chapel just outside of the small town where I grew up! Good to go back and see the town. Anyway it was a neat place, but nothing was more fun to capture than the bride and groom running through snow to the getaway car! They brought in a snow machine! How cool is that?

This is a little guy is on my "watch me grow" baby plan. He gets his pictures done every few months and it was his turn again the other day! He's 3 months old now and growing so fast! He's almost double the size he was. He's cooing and smiling all the time and even rolled over for the first time while I was there! So neat to be able to capture that moment and then the parents joy!

I meet the most wonderful family! I was hired to be the photographer but I was treated more like a guest. It was a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony, followed by an incredible reception full of water sliding, laughing, food, fun and family. I was honored to be able to capture a beautiful family and a special day!

Kindergarten Graduation

This is such an excited time for these little girls and I am honored to share in some of their excitement! These girls were so grown up and I felt as though I was taking pictures of little models. These best friends will not go to the same school next year so this graduation is really bitter sweet for them. I imagine they will stay good friends for a long time!

So... the new trend in child photography is hats. Winter, keep your head warm, fuzzy, bright and colorful hats. These pictures are unique and add a big splash of color to a childs face and a new spin on the non-traditional. I like this look and think it adds a more little personality to a photo.
